Seminars
There is often a variety of seminars running each year such as Instructors' courses and umpire courses, patterns, sparring and self-defence seminars to name a few.
Seminars are held all over New Zealand, and are regularly held in Christchurch. Seminars are usually taught by senior instructors or high performance athletes from around New Zealand who specialise in a particular area of Taekwon-Do. Camps are not run as regularly as other events, however International Taekwon-Do runs the hugely popular National Kids Kids Camp each year.
Camps are run over at 2 days (or more) and usually consist of a series of classes (similar to seminars) taught by senior instructors or our high performance athletes who compete at the World Champs. Camps are a great opportunity to learn from several different instructors on a number of different topics in one event, as well as meet members from other schools from all over New Zealand. The cost of a camp will include accommodation and meals for the duration of the camp, but not while travelling. To attend a camp you will need a uniform » and there will be costs associated with travel as camps will almost always be away from Christchurch. |
