We are very excited to present our programme for 4-6 year olds, called Taekwon-Do Kubz, which is an amazing program for 4-6 year olds, inspiring great behaviour, teaching social interaction and so much more! The programme was developed by Master Mark Hutton from Scotland, and focuses on pre-schoolers and young children.
Taekwon-Do Kubz have fun learning how to safely perform the coolest Taekwon-Do moves, with super-cool drills, learning everything from great communication skills to keeping safe. The Taekwon-Do Kubz program combines safe and exciting Taekwon-Do skills with fun drills and games that promote positive behaviour. It emphasises the benefits of great communication skills, which reduces the child’s frustration, and increases the child’s confidence and self-esteem. Taekwon-Do Kubz uses simple drills to teach how we “build a more peaceful world” by using “calm” voices (a dream for all parents and carers), smiling and shaking hands, as well as the essential skills of:
The Kubz are rewarded as they learn these skills and progress in the programme. Each reward is directly linked with the ideals set forth in Taekwon-Do: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit are all employed to inspire our kids, just as Taekwon-Do has been inspiring people of all ages for over 50 years.
