Information about grading
Gradings are optional but you have to attend them to attain a higher grade (belt).
Standard coloured belt gradings are conducted by examiners who are all qualified by International Taekwon-Do. Adults/Youths can grade at a standard coloured belt grading a few times per year. However grading at every grading is not usual, especially for senior coloured belts. Mini-kids (under 12) have a mini-kids grading at the end of each school term. The club Instructors run these gradings. Young children (under 10) on the mini-kids programme complete a standard coloured belt grading approximately every 12-18 months. Older children may progress faster. The Kubz programme also have a grading at the end of each term. The Kubz instructors run the Kubz gradings. Grading requirements
The club instructors will conduct a pre-grading before putting students forward to a standard grading.
